Double hydraulic opening and closing
The process starts with feeding the plastic material into the granulator. Internally, the cutting chamber consists of a spindle, a fixed blade and a moving blade. The spindle is made of 304 stainless steel, while the knives are made of D2 (Deep Cold Treated) steel, which guarantees sharpness while providing superior wear resistance.
Rotary knives, with their V-shaped mounting angle and X-shaped cutting design, play a vital role in reducing the size of plastic materials. These sharp blades on the rotor cut the plastic into smaller pieces.
A standardised dynamic balance test ensures that the shaft centres are always aligned, avoiding collisions caused by shaft changes during rotation.
The friction created during the cutting process generates heat, which can cause deformation of the plastic. However, our machine adopts the water crushing method, which effectively reduces the friction heat and can extend the working time of the blades.
After the plastic is cut, it passes through a filter screen. Typically, our screen sizes range from 10mm to 80mm and can be customised to suit your requirements. The screen and inlet are designed with double oil circuit hydraulic opening and closing, which is easy to access and maintain.
