The Label Remover is an essential piece of recycling equipment in the washing recycling of PET bottles. Designed to integrate seamlessly into the recycling process, the machine reduces errors and ensures clean label removal and reduced labour by automating the label removal process.
It efficiently handles a wide range of bottle types, including compressed, round and shaped bottles, as well as pvc heat-shrink labels and self-adhesive labels. With an overall label removal rate of over 97%, the machine is designed for high performance and versatility.
Exfoliation rate:
Compressed bottle: 90-95%
Uncompressed bottle off rate: 98%
Rotating diameter: φ800 mm
Length: 6000 mm
Patented blades
Large diameter
Low RPM
No damage to the bottle
Configuration of suction labeling system
These special claw knives are welded at a specific angle to the rapidly rotating spindle to propel the bottle forward. As a result of the repeated rotation and impact, the chances of the film adhering to the bottle due to moisture going to the next process are greatly reduced. When the labels are cut, they are blown into a collection chute. (Labels can be sold as a by-product)
By effectively removing the labels it helps to minimise PVC contamination in the PET flakes and ensures that the resulting recycled material is of a higher quality.
The machine ensures that all labels are removed before the bottles are crushed, laying the foundation for cleaner, more efficient recycling.
1.Initial activation:
First activate the recycler.
Switch on the fan motor. This helps maintain airflow.
Turn on the main unit motor. Make sure it is running smoothly before proceeding.
Finally, activate the conveyor motor and begin filling bottles in the conveyor system.
2.Monitor the operation:
Constant vigilance is required while the machine is running. Make sure that no foreign objects such as iron or stones enter the machine as they can cause damage to the internal blades.
If you notice any such objects or hear unusual noises, stop the machine immediately to prevent injury to the equipment or operator.
In a PET bottle washing recycling line, hard impurities such as metal are removed preferentially at the front end. If you buy PET bottle label remover machine separately we recommend adding metal detecting device or metal remover to the conveyor system.
3.Shutdown:
First turn off the conveyor motor to stop bottle movement.
Next, shut down the mainframe motor to stop core operation.
Finally turn off the fan motor to completely secure the system.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your PET bottle label remover operates safely and efficiently, minimising potential damage and ensuring a smooth recycling process.
Whether your labels are sleeve labels, heat shrink labels or adhesive labels, the machine has an overall label removal rate of 97%. If you are looking for the ultimate in label separation, we recommend using a double pet label remover or a label remover + whole bottle washer.
